Update

If you have not noticed I just recently changed the blog description to include not only metal music but also the hardcore genre as well, including both genres mixed.  I did this so I can inform you of many more bands that I have been enjoying that aren't necessarily metal but would fit into the hardcore genre better.

    You have changed things. Why have you chosen unnoticed bands? Are they what you listen to regularly? I like the new layout with the video bar and your list of personal favourites.

    Metal is a heavier branch of mainstream rock, while hardcore is a branch rooted in underground punk.

    I chose to write about commonly unnoticed bands because they are the ones that need more exposure as not many people know about them.

    I understand the metal genre, but what is underground punk? How did you get into this music in the first place?
