A Thousand Times Repent

A band who claims it's music is a diary of their lives, ups and downs, is bound to bring with it emotions of great intensity.  A Thousand Times Repent certainly does that but they don't just dwell on the dark sides of life like many death-metal bands.  Instead they choose to show those dark sides then move on to how to get past them and how to dwell in the loving embrace of our savior.  Though still a very small band they have gotten recognition all around North America with their immensely brutal brand of metal.  Find out more on this band at last.fm and other social networking sites.

  1. A band who claims "its" music, not their. Band is singular, so the pronoun must be singular as well. How did you come across this band? So is this considered to be a death-metal band or spiritual?

  2. One of my friends found this band then showed me some of their music and I was instantly interested. This is a death-metal band (death-metal being a genre of music not a description of the people) that talks about and lives the lives of people called to a higher and greater purpose than just living life to its fullest.

  3. Thank you for your response. I am glad that you were able to set me straight on genre. I was always under the impression that spiritual music was a genre of its own. I will be honest, death-metal is not a genre to which I have had any interest. I find that I can't listen to it long enough to ascertain the lyrics.
