A Thousand Times Repent

A band who claims it's music is a diary of their lives, ups and downs, is bound to bring with it emotions of great intensity.  A Thousand Times Repent certainly does that but they don't just dwell on the dark sides of life like many death-metal bands.  Instead they choose to show those dark sides then move on to how to get past them and how to dwell in the loving embrace of our savior.  Though still a very small band they have gotten recognition all around North America with their immensely brutal brand of metal.  Find out more on this band at last.fm and other social networking sites.

The Gun Show

A pause in the music only to hear the whole crowd scream "OH JEZEBEL", then bursting into a massive breakdown is what you should expect when you listen to The Gun Shows most popular song The Adegan System.  With relentless touring and marketing this band is finally starting to get a solid fan base which I think they should have had along time ago.  Starting in 2005 in Mansfield, Ohio this band is trying to take thier brand of metalcore to a different level while not compromising on their upfront message of hope.  Visit thier facebook page or their YouTube  account to find more info and listen to various songs they have posted.

Blood of the Martyrs

"Have a nice DA-A-A-AY!" screams the lead vocalist as the song Lady Nightshade bursts into a massive breakdown, and I for one, have had a better day after listening to this brand new song by Blood of the Martyrs.  With a brand new album just out (find it at itunes.com) and a solid record label in Dark Slate Records, this band strikes forth with an unrelenting message and a will to survive in this era of sound-alike metal bands.
